Course Overview

Birthing a Breech Education or BABE is a one day multidisciplinary course aimed at maternity care providers looking for more specific information on the options around a woman who has a breech presentation late in pregnancy. It is unique in its inclusion of consumers, not only in the development of the course but also in the manual and lectures.

The course includes lectures and workstations enabling participants to have hands-one practice using the wonderful mannequin Sophie and her Mum (from Model Med http://www.modelmed.com.au/).

Our first course was on the Gold Coast in May 2013 and was a wonderful success. Over 40 keen delegates thoroughly enjoyed the one day course, giving an overwhelming positive response that we will take into our following courses.

The course fee in Australian dollars is $1,100.00 per participant. This includes:

• One day of training
• The BABE online study notes (hard copy not available)
• Lunch, morning and afternoon tea
